It takes an OTK approach to winning games. This is an early theorycrafted version of Fireblast Mage that was created by Godless Minstrel. We'll also have Mulligan advice for you once the list has firmed up further, and we know what the broader new Hearthstone meta looks like. As the list is refined, so we'll update this section. We've got an overview of the deck list itself and a tear-down of the combos that exist in this early version. In the first version of our Fireblast Mage guide, we're highlighting a deck list that's still subject to refinement as new cards are revealed, but provides a fascinating glimpse of what could be part of the new meta when the expansion lands in early December. Some have theorycrafted one-turn-kill (OTK) versions, while others look at the potential for extreme control and value. In the Boomsday Project expansion, neutral mech Zilliax was released, which added a viable healing card to be used by hunters, as it also provides removal and can be magnetized to existing mechs, in this deck Missile Launcher, Venomizer, and Clockwork Automaton (Only one is needed for the combo).Fireblast - or Hero Power - Mage looks like it could be a thing in the new Rastakhan's Rumble, thanks to the revealing of a number of cards that play specifically into the Mage's signature class ability. Hunters’ other weakness is a lack of healing. Alternatively, a lone Missile Launcher can be also effective against some decks. To fix this problem, which comes up quite often, I’ve added Missile Launcher and Venomizer to be magnetized together to clear large boards and place a threat on the board preventing future minions from being played until it is dealt with. This deck and hunters in general lack a way to deal with large boards unless they have one of their own. If you plan to play this the turn of the combo, you must discount the total cost by (1) through use of Emperor Thaurissan, Fencing Coach, or Galvanizer. Also keep in mind that Feign Death will cost (1) or (2), which must be beforehand subtracted from the total cost through use of Emperor Thaurissan, Fencing Coach, or Galvanizer.įlare: Destroys all enemy secrets. Keep in mind that your board must be cleared beforehand to allow the presence of 6 Clockwork Automatons and a Carnivorous Cube. Can be used to discount the Clockwork Automaton for the combo and/or the Missile Launcher + Venomizer combo to clear the board before turn 8.įeign Death: Summons two extra copies of Clockwork Automaton to deal 128 damage to penetrate armor. Galvanizer: Discounts the cost of mechs in your hand by (1). Allows Emperor Thaurissan to be played prematurely with the absence of two combo pieces and creates potential to topdeck the combo. Play Carnivorous Cube to destroy Clockwork Automaton.Ģx Play Dead onto Carnivorous Cube to summon 4 copies of Clockwork Automaton.įencing Coach: Discounts your next Hero Power by (2). Play Emperor Thaurissan the turn before to discount the other 4 combo pieces. ![]() The normal 32 damage combo is as follows: The goal of this deck is to deal up to 128 damage to the enemy hero with multiple copies of Clockwork Automaton. ![]()
